St. Thereza’s Convent surrounded by paddy fields is situated in the picturesque village of Raia a few kilometers away from the din and bustle of the main town- Margao. Our Sisters have been here since 1949 and on 23rd May, 1968 we shifted to the present Convent.

In the School which adjoins the Convent we help the children realize that the tomorrow of our nation depends very much on their effort and work for their all round development. Students are guided to a realistic view of the world by our dedicated Sisters and staff members.

Students are acclimatized to the importance of setting goals and achieving them with resources available at hand.The attached boarding –an extension of the learning curve, contributes towards the upliftment of some of those children whose parents can ill afford to pay for their education.

The Sisters maintain cordial relationship with the people of the village through Catechesis, Home visiting, SCC prayer meetings.
