Our Sisters left for the North-east [Assam] at Karbirongsopi, [Diphu Diocese] climbing the mountain of opportunity to serve in this unknown, challenging mission on 26th December 2011. 

Our Sisters commenced their apostolic activities residing in a Convent specially crafted by the villagers made of bamboos and mud. The Sisters in collaboration with the SDB’s are in the teaching ministry and also manage a boarding for the boys and girls.  

The children are from nearby and far flung villages. It’s glad to note that nothing divides them, and it’s the educational opportunity that brings them together as one. 

The HC’s work in Karbirongsopi with vitality, hard work a discipline.
