Belgundi is very remote village in the Diocese of Belgaum cut off from other neighbouring villages which was started on 1st July, 1998. The people are mostly poor farmers. The Sisters here are very close to nature. 
They visit the sick and needy and impart education including value formation to the illiterate, train young women in home sciences like hygiene and nutrition, needlework and handicraft. Deeper faith formation of the Christians is the prime important part of their mission.
