On 14th June, 1996, the feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Handmaids of Christ were anchored in the Diocese of Karwar.
On 5th August, 1999 the foundation stone of Premanjali – home for the destitutes was laid. The construction of the destitute home is nearing completion. This institution aspires to shelter the homeless and the Sisters are eagerly waiting to serve them.
We believe that with God given strength, courage and our effort, He will make a reality of what seems impossible in our eyes today.
