St Thereza’s Convent High School, Ganapoga-Raia, celebrated a momentous milestone as it commemorated its 75th anniversary with grandeur and splendor. The hall, adomed in regal blue and sparkling diamond-themed decor, emanated waves of joy. The Diamond Jubilee festivities commenced with a solemn Mass, presided over by Dr Fr Agnelo Pinheiro, an esteemed alumnus of the institution. He accentuated on this joyful celebration to delve into an honest evaluation for an efficient rejuvenation The festivities begun with the unveiling of a commemorative logo for this milestone occasion, an emblem carefully designed by Sr Patricia to encapsulate the essence of the school’s journey, released by Sr Faria, Superior General of the Handmaids of Christ, adding a memorable touch to the event. The guests were later treated to a vibrant cultural programme, which began with a heart-warming welcome song. Students then charmed the audience with an endearing dance performance. The highlight of the celebrations was a delightful skit presented by the students of the primary section, captivating the hearts of all present. The meticulously planned program proceeded seamlessly, a testament to the precision, organization and dedication of the school management, staff and students alike. Resonating with the theme, ‘Jubilate the Diamond Mosaic’, the headmistress, Sr Jennifer eloquently poured forth her gratitude in a poetic composition that sparkled with heartfelt recognition for the previous as well as current managers, headmistresses, teaching and non-teaching staff and benefactors.The celebrations were met with widespread acclaim and appreciation, as attendees lauded the school’s rich legacy and commitment to excellence. St Thereza’s Convent High School’s 75th anniversary served as a reminder of its enduring impact on generations of students, and a testament to its unwavering dedication to academic and moral excellence. The event was graced by the presence of priests, nuns, ex-students and well- wishers of the school.
