MESSAGE, 2022
My dear Sisters,
“I thank my God each time I think of you; and every time I pray for you all, I pray with joy.” (Phil 1:3a)
Assuredly the XIX Ordinary General Chapter of our Congregation, drew us into a dynamic of celebration. It was indeed a powerful moment of communion and a grace-filled event with the Theme: “Journeying together to Review, Renew and Relaunch”. Like the Apostles in the Upper Room, we were truly accompanied by Mary, the First Handmaid of the Lord and the Patroness of our Congregation. The Holy Spirit who is a weaver of relationships has been leading us in ways known but very little to our human thinking and estimation. Undoubtedly, we have been led on the path of peace and discernment, steering us in our common search for the Will of God.
I thank God wholeheartedly for the precious gift of each one of the Sister of my Congregation. By re-electing me as the Superior General, they have placed their high level trust in me. As usual, I strongly felt the vibrations of their prayers and sincere support. I count on the continuous prayers and blessings of all those who are dear to me and all those connected to our Congregation in one way or the other. Being at the helm once again, I wish to uphold the theme which I had chosen earlier: ‘Empowered by God’s Mercy, to be at the service of all’. I desire to experience God’s outpouring Mercy in order to share it with all.
Isaiah 40:41 says: “Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” We keep discovering the rhythms that enable us to lean on God and find our strength in Him. Leaning deeper into God’s love, we shall recognize that there is a purpose and in time, the One who loves us unconditionally will reveal and execute His Divine purpose to us. It is time to de-clutter our hearts from aches, hurts and negativity in order to fully appreciate the living presence of God and follow Him with undivided hearts.

Inspired by Mary’s Fiat we dare to say a continuous ‘Yes’ to God’s call as we move ahead as one family towards the Vision and Mission of our holy Founder. Let us work together in love and unity in order to make our communities an abode of love and mercy, for “A little bit of mercy makes the world less cold and more just.” Pope Francis
